Jessica's Chili
adapted from Jessica's chili recipe

2-3 cloves garlic; coarsely chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1-2 orange and yello bell peppers, seeded and chopped
1/2 package ground turkey
1 can plain tomato sauce
1 can diced tomato
1 can beans (any kind - I use black beans)
1 tablespoon ancho chili pepper
1 teaspoon chili pepper
1 dash jalapeno powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1/2 tsp. crushed red peppers
1 teaspoon Chili 9000
1 cup brown rice

Saute garlic, onion and peppers. Add meat and cook until brown. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beans, and spices. If it needs more saltiness, add either garlic powder or shallot salt, or regular salt.  Simmer chili on medium-low for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook brown rice. Serve chili over brown rice.

The spices, yellow peppers and black beans make this chili different and delicious. Also, add a little cinnamon for a more lebanese flavor...very good!
